The Four Legs of Healthcare Reform

WE ARE ALL PATIENTS, or will be at some point in our lives. We therefore have the responsibility to take care of our own bodies, and stay out of the doctor’s office and emergency room – it’s called Personal Accountability. That means eating the right foods, exercise and move, rest and sleep, and asking for proactive, preventative help when we need it. If we don’t, we’ve failed – ourselves, our families, our neighbors, our communities.


When the 4 legs (Patients, Drug and Device Manufacturers, Insurance Companies and Healthcare Providers) have failed to provide and regulate a sustainable system of healthcare, is it time for the 5th leg (Government) to step in?
