Doctors Strive to Do Less Harm by Inattentive Care

Inattentive medical care is now seen as a real harm. To remedy the situation, many hospitals and doctors are surveying those in their care.

Since 2007, Medicaid has required hospitals to survey patients regarding the quality of care they received as patients. Finally, the surveys have been linked to what should be seen as common sense: treat others as you would want to be treated.  An important article for hospital staff to read, and new potential policies to implement.
