Brain injuries aren’t always caused by trauma; autoimmune diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis, Neuromyelitis Optica and Encephalits can also cause severe damage to the brain. Getting insurance to pay for these costly treatments is often frustrating and extremely time consuming, making me wonder, “Why have insurance at all?”.
