Alluding the Federal Government’s definition of the “unavoidable pressure ulcer” in Tag F314 in the CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) guidelines, the authors made it abundantly clear that there had to be some documentation showing that the pressure ulcers developed in spite of providing all of the services, supplies and equipment required for prevention.
