By lowering the legal blood alcohol limit from 0.08 to 0.05, the NTSB may be limiting your alcohol intake to 1-2 drinks. There are many factors that affect blood alcohol, including body weight, gender, medications and pre-existing health care conditions such as diabetes and reflux. Studies have shown that “buzzed drinking” with a blood alcohol from 0.05-0.07 is just as dangerous as driving over the current limit. What are your thoughts? Will lowering the legal limit on blood alcohol make a difference on the roads or in our correctional system?
